Biography
Ana Júlia Ribeiro is a multimedia artist.
Currently participating in the Eutopia Artist Residency Program in Greece, 2025.
She is the author of seven published books and a University Professor of Visual Arts, Film, and Audiovisual Production at FAAP - São Paulo.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Communication from FAAP - São Paulo, a Master’s in Social Sciences from PUC-SP, and is pursuing a PhD in Philosophy at PUC-SP.
Her paintings have been exhibited in galleries in São Paulo, Portugal, Rome, Greece, and at the Museu do Artista in Franca, her hometown. A special series is currently on display in the Rector’s Office of the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, and she also created a commissioned painting for the MAB - Brazilian Museum of Art.
She is the creator of the brand AJ, through which she develops limited-edition capsule collections.
The artist has created public installations in the city of São Paulo that invite those who connect with her work to take it to new, random destinations.
“Artworks were made to be shared. I like discovering the world and work to transform it into a place of greater awareness. I create paintings destined for chance. The works are meant to be shared. I enjoy exploring and embracing the unknown paths they take. Chance is powerful; I have faith and trust in its mysteries.”
